They met in Gokarna in September 2018 and fell in love at first sight. Desna, with her untamed hair, beach dress, and chill vibe, captivated everyone around her. Neirin, with his cool looks and cheeky manner, wondered how he might approach her. 

Drawn together, they had only twelve hours to share stories, walk the beach, and watch the starry sky before parting: Desna to Delhi and Neirin to Germany. 

They stayed connected across the distance, sharing dreams and plans. Then the pandemic hit, delaying everything, they wouldn’t see each other again for three long years.

 Finally, as the world returned to its normal, Neirin was granted a visa to travel to India. Never having given up, they were reunited at last. 


And now, you are invited to their wedding.

FAQ

March marks the start of spring in the hills. Days are pleasantly warm (15–20°C), while evenings can get cool (5–10°C). It’s best to bring a jacket and shawl for the evenings and early mornings. 

Dress codes will vary by event, but overall think festive yet comfortable. Bright colours, breathable fabrics, and sturdy footwear are ideal, especially since some ceremonies will take place outdoors or in forested areas. Heels are not recommended. Details are provided in the agenda section.

Accommodation will be arranged in local hotels and resorts near the wedding venue. Once your RSVP confirms it, you’ll receive your stay details. If you want a luxury stay, we can advise you where to find one. 

There will be vegetarian Indian cuisine. Expect a delicious mix of North Indian, Garhwali, and Rajasthani cuisines, with western options. 

Yes! Guests are encouraged to explore the surrounding forests, waterfalls, and local cafés in Landour and Mussoorie. There will also be informal gatherings where everyone can relax, enjoy music, and soak in the mountain atmosphere.
